HONG KONG, Nov 22, 2017 - (ACN Newswire) - DesignInspire, a new international creative exhibition organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), debuts next month to promote state-of-the-art innovation and designs from around the world. As the event's first major citywide promotion, the Happy Innovations Exhibition opened today and runs until 5 December at the Gallery by the Harbour, to further promote creativity and design culture.
| In collaboration with local design talents, the HKTDC presents the Happy Innovations exhibition, showcasing 16 life-inspiring creative designs. |
| Participating designers gather at Gallery by the Harbour, Harbour City, for the launch of the Happy Innovations exhibition. |
- More than a dozen Inspiring Designs under Three Themes
The exhibition explores new possibilities and innovative solutions to build a more livable and happier city. Under the themes of PLAY, LIVE and INSPIRE, more than 20 up-and-coming Hong Kong designers, who come from different design disciplines, present 16 life-inspiring creations and installations to promote the philosophy of "Happy City."
Under PLAY, designers transform the city into an enjoyable play area by introducing unconventional applications of ordinary objects and materials. LIVE features fresh and creative spatial designs, and unique furniture for home living. INSPIRE showcases a series of innovative designs that promote inner peace and happiness.
